If You're Happy and You Know It....
A special shout out to G-ma Suzie, who is probably our biggest fan of the lilliapants blog....Hi Gramma! We miss you!!!
I had to update you on a few things that are going on with Lillia. Ok, well she is TOTALLY clapping on cue now. Matt sings "When your happy and you know it..." and she gets a huge smile and starts clapping. Or any time I say "Yay!" We opened a savings account for her with her first paycheck from her modeling gigs of $100. We went to Keira's 3rd b-day party today and had so much fun in Prospect Park, even with the 90 degree weather. We saw 3 month old Mr. Griffin and I got to feed him a bottle. (Lora is in Europe this week and Mike is alone with him!) Lillia had bites of pistachio ice cream and a few nibbles of Keira's b-day cupcake today. (No frosting.) We started a Music class last week called Music Together on Mondays at 11:15am, which is really fun. Lillia has a few friends that we are hanging out with almost weekly...Willa, Wyeth and Ruby. And a couple others that we have plans to play with soon. I will get some pics of them and add them to the blog hall of fame. She started her 2nd semester of swimming on Saturday mornings. We try to go to library readings on Wednesday mornings and baby/mom yoga on Friday mornings. I catch her standing with no hands almost daily and she loves to pull herself up on the dishwasher and bathtub and the couch and living room tables and chairs, and of course me. She has 8 huge beautiful white teeth, and yes is trying to bit me when nursing. I have 1.5 more months before she is a year and am going to try to stick it out! I am thinking about b-day party ideas and locations. I am doing some freelance work for another friend's clothing store and have my first meeting on Tuesday to kick off another big project I am going to be working on for an Organic T-shirt company. Just to name a few.... We had/are having such a fun summer together! This has to be my best summer ever! And if this is as good as it gets, I would be one happy mommy! I just don't want it to end. But change is good, right?
