Obama Please & Pointing & Clapping & Look Mom No Hands!

So I am watching the Democratic National Convention awaiting Obama's big speech and all I keep hoping is that this will be our and Lillia's new president. I think it could really happen. How exciting and inspiring will that be as her future!

Anyway, along with turning 10 months old and now officially the cutest age EVER (...no really, I started crying today right before Natasha, the babysitter, came because I didn't want to leave and be away from her today. She was sooo cute and cuddly this morning...) I had to document a few things that she is now doing. Last week, while the G-parents were here, she started pointing. Now she does it all the time, usually along with waving. She likes to wave at things and people, but especially the art on our walls. I think that means she likes it. She is already becoming an art critic and was waving at paintings she liked at PS1 a couple of weeks ago.

She also can clap as of yesterday! And has also been high fiving for a couple of weeks now. (Get ready Jeremy!)

AND today in front of Matt and I, she stood with NO HANDS for like 5 seconds or so! She did this with me 2x yesterday. but only for a second or 2. Today was totally intentional. And she was so happy with herself when we showed her our excitement. She got all wild and loud and silly. GOD she is so cute! I really want her to stay this age forever!! Did I say that already??
